David Orr, better known as Dave, grew up in Villisca, Iowa, surrounded by the rumble of engines and the smell of racing fuel. With a family deeply rooted in motorsports—his uncles, dad, and grandpa all racing and wrenching on cars—Dave’s love for racing started at an early age in the pits and the garage.

In 2005, Dave moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, where he began working professionally on vehicles, turning his lifelong passion into a career. His experience and dedication led him to open Dave’s Complete Auto Service, a trusted shop known for its quality work and customer care.

Dave races a NASCAR-sanctioned Sport Modified, carrying on the family legacy on dirt tracks across the region. While he occasionally runs at other tracks, his home turf is Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa—a place that holds deep meaning for him and his racing roots.

Racing is truly a family affair for Dave. His pit crew includes his daughter Hailey Orr, his father Bernard Orr, and his nephews Tyler Hoover, Zander Steiner, and Gunner Steiner—all of whom share the family passion for racing. Zander and Gunner also compete in dirt track racing at Adams County Speedway, continuing the Orr family’s strong presence on race night.

Though he's a business owner and a devoted father of two daughters, Dave’s heart still beats for the racetrack. Whether he’s under the hood or behind the wheel, racing remains a family tradition and personal drive that fuels everything he does.
